Construction Buyer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement/Buyer for our Construction Division. The role is responsible for acquiring materials and resources for construction and manufacturing processes that meet the quality standards and budget limitations.

The Construction Buyer will negotiate offers with trusted suppliers and vendors for cost‑effective materials based on design specifications and requirements. Also responsible for monitoring the accurate distribution and delivery schedules to maintain the consistency of project plans and finishing those tasks within the required deadlines.

Qualified candidates should have 3 years’ experience in a construction‑related occupation or environment that includes Estimating, Procurement and Sourcing activities. Administrative ability and good interpersonal skills are necessary for success. Knowledge of Purchase Order Processes, Inventory Management, and ERP or SAP are very helpful.
