• Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
• Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff

• Addressing problems and troubleshooting
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly

• Maintaining appropriate inspections of the property as identified by the organization and brand
• Ensuring the property meets brand guidelines and expectations for service and all standards
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
• Performing various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Financial savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding that the hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment
