Are you a hands-on operations leader with a passion for safety, team development, and operational excellence? This is an exciting opportunity to lead field service operations, drive performance, and build strong customer relationships within a growing organization.
The OpportunityReporting to the General Manager, the Field Service Manager will oversee field personnel, project scheduling, equipment utilization, and service delivery across multiple customer sites. This leadership role is instrumental in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Field Operations: Lead daily field activities, coordinate crews and equipment, and optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Project Performance: Partner with Project Managers to manage timelines, labor costs, budgets, and overall project execution.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and customer requirements.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop field personnel, including Superintendents, Team Leaders, and Field Technicians.
- Customer Relationships: Serve as a key operational contact, resolve service issues, and partner with Sales to support account growth.
- Equipment & Process Improvement: Oversee fleet and equipment readiness, monitor operational KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- 7+ years of experience in industrial field services, environmental services, construction, or a related industry.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading field teams.
- Strong knowledge of field operations, safety regulations, project execution, and resource planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects while balancing customer needs, safety, and profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
Experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services, wastewater, vacuum truck operations, or hydro blasting is a plus. OSHA 30 certification, CDL/DOT fleet knowledge, and experience with workforce scheduling or ERP systems are also desirable.
