Entry-level machinist responsible for safe operation of CNC vertical and/or horizontal mills under close supervision.

• Load/unload parts into CNC milling machines using proper fixtures and clamps.
• Follow basic setup instructions provided by lead machinist or setup sheets.
• Run production jobs, monitor cycle times, and report issues.
• Use basic measuring tools (calipers, depth mics, height gauges) to verify in-process part features.
• Clean machine, remove chips, and perform minor maintenance tasks (lubrication, fluid checks).
• Follow work instructions, job travelers, and safety protocols.

• High School Diploma
• Experience:
  
  0–2 years in CNC machining or technical school graduate
• Ability to read simple mechanical blueprints.
• Familiarity with basic machine control panel operations (start, stop, feed hold).
• Understands basic shop math and measuring systems (inch).
• Basic understanding of milling operations (face milling, drilling, pocketing).
