Material Handler

Our client, a leading environmental services provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Waste Management Department supporting operations related to non-hazardous waste handling. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a team environment.

* ** Pay Rate:**  $26.00 per hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Load and unload various size containers such as totes, drums, tankers, and trailers

+ Construct boxes and fiber containers, then label and load them for processing or transportation

+ Use tools like impact wrenches, shovels, and jackhammers to assist in waste handling tasks

+ Transport waste materials within the facility as directed

+ Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers following safety and disposal guidelines

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or GED preferred

+ Prior experience of 3 to 6 months in waste management or chemical handling preferred

+ Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts

+ Ability to read and write effectively for communication and documentation

+ Willingness to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment
