Summary DescriptionThis position will lead daily production operations. They will be a hands‑on leader who will work with production employees to run and improve the operation. As a Production Supervisor (or Sr. Supervisor, based on experience), you’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership on the production floor, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations. You’ll coach and develop your team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to meet company goals.
Whatwill your day look like?
- Hire, train, and direct production staff (packing, machine operators, line leads, team leads)
- Build and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment through clear communication, feedback, and recognition
- Set expectations, monitor performance, and support staff development through coaching and one‑on‑one meetings
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Safety, Quality, Engineering, Logistics) to optimize operations
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, 5S/6S, Kaizen, Kanban, Six Sigma)
- Manage labor utilization across shifts and forecast staffing needs
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Track and report key metrics (delivery, efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety)
- Support asset management and cost‑effective equipment operation
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years in a leadership role (preferably in manufacturing/operations)
- Experience with liquid filling, packaging, or similar operations
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years supervisory experience (preferably in manufacturing/operations)
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements
- Experience developing standards, managing processes, and analyzing data
