Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Engineer – Machining role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Support CNC machining operations, including mills, lathes, and multi‑axis equipment.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve throughput.
- Evaluate tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies to enhance productivity and part quality.
- Analyze process data and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing machining processes and validating production readiness.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and company policies.
- Assist with equipment selection, commissioning, and continuous improvement of machining cells.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and production staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in machining environments (CNC milling, turning, tooling, and fixturing).
- Strong understanding of machining principles, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing documentation systems is a plus.
