We are looking for Industrial Machine Mechanics on 2nd shift for our manufacturing plant in Cincinnati, OH.

This position could provide you the opportunity for career growth and skill advancement, into the role of a SENCO Associate Manufacturing Engineer.

Shift options: Full Time: 2nd Shift;
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM OR Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Maintain proper settings for machines.
• Troubleshoot machines to identify the cause of defects in the product.
• Make minor adjustments or repairs to auto-pack units.
• Perform established duties to machines in the assigned area to maintain production, scrap rates, and product quality.
• Consistently run standard production on 1-2 machines, depending on the assigned area.
• Clean machines with shop rags & scrapers.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Mechanic II Additional
  
  Primary Responsibilities:
• Nails and Staples Department Only:
  Consistently run standard production on 3-4 machines, depending on the assigned area.
• Wire Draw Department Only:
  Consistently run standard in all three sections, a 2:1 ratio as required.

• A high school diploma/ GED is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to work well with others.
• Preferably has 1-3 years (Mechanic II, 1-5 years) of a mechanical background.
• Preferably has a working knowledge of micrometers and calipers.
• Can accurately and efficiently record daily production numbers.

  Additional Qualifications:
  
  Has six months or more of Mechanic I experience; outside experience will be accepted but is not preferable.
• Experience with 1-2 Senco machines is preferred but not required.

• 100% of the time, must be able to work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment.
• Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
• Must be able to read and write proficiently.
• Must be able to obtain a material handling vehicle license.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• 100% of the time, must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry +/- 75 pounds.
• Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
• 100% of the time spent standing throughout the shift.
