CNC Machinist, Machine Operator
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced machinists who can program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis lathes using Mazatrol. You’ll be part of a clean, fully air-conditioned shop with a family-owned culture that values craftsmanship and precision.
What You’ll Do- Program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis CNC lathes using Mazatrol at the machine
- Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and part drawings
- Verify setups, dimensions, and tolerances before and during machining
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- 3–5+ years of experience as a CNC lathe machinist (not just operator)
- Proficiency in Mazatrol programming directly at the machine
- Strong background in setup and operation of CNC lathes
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and work from blueprints
- Comfortable in a low-volume, high-precision job shop environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Competitive Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
