Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift

12:00PM-8:30PM Monday-Friday with possible overtime

As a Shipping Clerk, you'll have responsibility in ensuring incoming materials are routed properly and our finished product is sent back to our customers in a timely manner.
What you'll do:
- Use Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS One World, DHL, and similar systems to receive and ship component parts both domestically and internationally.
- Reconcile incoming BOL’s.
- Check for damage and create a damage report using a computer.
- Open and unpack crates using an overhead crane.
- Verify customer's paperwork and raise a discrepancy if not accurate.
- After a brief handoff to the induction team, verify routing information and move the parts to the appropriate cell.
- Once parts have been repaired move them back to shipping/receiving using a forklift as needed.
- Verify part numbers and create initial shipping paperwork.
- Use best practices to pack materials for shipment back to customer.
- Work with the Standard Aero Customer Service team to understand shipping instructions and create labels.
- Finalize shipments.
- Prepare and pack components parts that vary in size, shape and weight.
- Keep track of inventory of shipping supplies
- Be well organized with attention to detail.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to think outside the box when solving problems.
Position Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must have experience with Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS One World, DHL, and similar systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average workday.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Previous overhead crane experience.
- A valid forklift operator's license.
