Forklift Operator Shipping and Receiving Overview

Electronauts a Cincinnati Ohio manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in package handling, shipping, and receiving operations. If you are a skilled warehouse operator we want to hear from you.

• Unloads trucks using standing forklift. Verifies all materials on the packing list and purchase order are in the package, inspects the materials for damage, updates and verifies all shipping and receiving inventory is updated in the E2 system.
• Labels received materials with receiving label, prints an inventory job traveler, and allocates to the appropriate storage location according to the receiving label and storage number.
• Generates shipping labels using 3rd party software and labels outgoing packages per instructions of ERP and 3rd party software.
• Updates ERP and 3rd party software with quantity of items when inventory has been received or sent.
• Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to a staging or to other designated areas through the use of pallet jacks and/or forklift.
• Checks ERP for Sales Orders and packs items on the Sales Order to be shipped.
• Ensures warehouse is clean, organized, accessible and safe.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Follows the Five S methodology manual at all times. Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of order fulfillment processes experience working in a distribution center is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Capability to load and unload shipments effectively
