Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
A precision machining company in the Cincinnati area is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support both mill and lathe operations. This role focuses on creating accurate and efficient CNC programs for complex parts using Mastercam for 3+2 or full 5-axis machining. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint interpretation skills and the ability to work closely with engineering to ensure quality and tolerance requirements are met.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine required machining dimensions and processes.
Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam for 3+2 or 5-axis machining
.Compute angular, linear, and radial dimensions using computer-assisted software.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas to determine tolerances and quality standards.
Create efficient CNC programs for various CNC-operated machines.
Compute dimensions for manufacturing and quality control as required.
Assist with updates and operation of administrative computer systems when needed.
Follow prescribed shop safety regulations and all company policies related to attendance, labor reporting, and housekeeping.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Experience programming CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
3+2 Axis or 5-Axis programming experience required.
Strong ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and precision tolerances.
Strong computer skills and comfort with updating internal systems.
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift light materials throughout the shift.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $40.00 per hour
