We are seeking a
Master Craftsman with extensive experience in
custom woodworks and cabinetry to join our high-performing millwork team. This individual will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing high-end, custom wood and cabinetry products that meet exact specifications. The ideal candidate will bring a deep knowledge of woodworking techniques, a passion for precision, and a dedication to delivering superior craftsmanship.
- Interpret and execute detailed shop drawings, blueprints, and CAD files with a high degree of accuracy.
- Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry, furniture, millwork, and specialty wood components.
- Select appropriate materials (hardwoods, veneers, MDF, etc.) based on project needs and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of woodworking tools and machinery (CNC routers, table saws, jointers, planers, sanders, etc.).
- Perform high-quality finishing (staining, painting, sealing) to match client specifications.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior craftsmen and apprentices as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality expectations and client requirements.
Required:
- 7+ years of professional experience in fine woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork.
- Mastery of woodworking techniques, joinery, and custom fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient with both traditional and modern woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in architectural millwork or commercial cabinetry production.
- Familiarity with CNC operations and CAD-based shop drawing review.
- Background in historical restoration or specialty wood finishes is a plus.
