Product lines include Jordan Valve, Low Flow, Steriflow, Steriflow Food & Beverage, Marwin, Hex, and Bestobell. The company focuses on profitable growth through operational excellence and new product investments.

Richards is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented CNC Operator. The CNC Operator will report directly to the Production Manager and will be involved with the Jordan Valve, Low Flow, Steriflow, Steriflow Food & Beverage, Marwin, Hex, and Bestobell product lines.

• Machine operation/production
• Load/unload parts within the qualified time
• Identify proper tooling/fixtures and jaws for efficient set-up
• Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability
• Observe machine operation to verify accuracy and detect malfunctions; adjust machine to control part process using precision measuring instruments (micrometer, dial caliper)
• Post edits CNC program to fine-tune process for optimum performance with assistance from a CNC Operator/Programmer or programmer; submit changes to programmer
• Perform first-piece in-process inspection
• Machine set up

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of CNC machining experience
• General PC knowledge
• Knowledge of AS400 system
• Knowledge of CNC Turning/Mill machine
• Ability to handle 50 lb. to 200 lb. valve bodies with assistive equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when scheduled
