Primary Duties- Perform simple adjustments to fit, align, and insure free action of movable parts
- Select and load proper raw material and unload completed part as required
- Use bench type power and hand tools, soldering equipment, simple testing devices and gauging equipment
- Recognize defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, etc
- Follow standardized methods of work
- Ability to follow directions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Frequent exposure to temperature extremes, humid/arid conditions, noise levels of >80 db, and moving objects
- Occasional exposure to: vibrations, mechanical hazards, dust, fumes, gases, mists, solvents, allergens, and insect bites
- Continuous use of touch, continuous or near continuous standing and balancing
- Must have the ability to speak and hear clearly
- Must be able to see well including depth perception and the ability to distinguish between colors
- Requires frequent (4 or more hours per day): walking, lifting, carrying (25-50 lbs), stooping, twisting, reaching (overhead and to the side)
- Occasional walking, sitting, climbing, pushing & pulling of heavy carts, kneeling, and crouching may be required
8 hour shifts M-F with weekend and daily overtime hours as required for production
