Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Monitors extrusion machine start up and operation duties to maximize efficiencies and achieve production goals for the shift.
• Ensures material is flowing through the production equipment continuously to maintain a quality product.
• Inspects output to ensure the quality of the materials produced.
• Provides leadership in identifying production and quality issues and effectively resolving them.
• Maintains records of production and variances as requested.
• Checks equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. Notifies supervision or maintenance if there are any unusual conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, malfunctions or adjustments, cleaning or repairs of production equipment is needed during the production shift.
• Communicates with previous shift, and supervision to exchange information on process conditions or other important issues.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA Safety and Health rules and wears personal protective equipment at all times as required.
• All other duties assigned by management.
