The Global Supply Chain division is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to provide leadership and support to Cintas-owned manufacturing plants and vendors through various system and production-related activities. This includes leadership of the manufacturing services department and working with other Global Supply Chain functions to achieve key performance metrics. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to travel to our international plants to work with our manufacturing leadership teams and ensure top operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead key manufacturing initiatives including the annual cost review, plant lead-time reduction, and plant productivity and material improvement projects.
  • Analyze operational results to effectively manage plants, including projections of sales, expenses, and profits. Responsible for controlling and improving costs and working with plant leaders to take appropriate actions.
  • Work with plant management and engineers to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide SAP system support for the owned manufacturing plants (and subcontractors as requested). Support includes training, assistance, and reporting questions/issues. Ensure SAP training materials are updated according to current activities and practices. Run weekly and monthly reports to ensure compliance.
  • Assure procedures and policies are in place and effectively followed by plant management for accurate inventories of fabric, production supplies, and work-in-process as well as emergency action plans.
Skills/Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience with the garment industry and/or Supply Chain management.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more.
  • Bi‑lingual in Spanish.

Preferred:

  • Leadership of teams preferred.
