Aviation Repair Technician

CTL Aerospace is a full‑service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station with operations since 1946. The Repair Division specializes in the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components.

We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment as an Aviation Repair Technician at our Northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

• Setup and operate basic hand tools (grinders, drills, rivet guns, sanders, etc.) and equipment.
• Operate in hand‑blending critical surfaces, re‑drilling/reaming/relocating holes, riveting, etc.
• Perform composite repairs: adhesive application, curing, painting and finishing of carbon fiber/fiberglass components.
• Adhesive bonding of components including lay‑up, vacuum bagging and curing.
• Remove coatings and adhesives by media blasting, grinding or machining.
• Read and interpret repair procedures.
• Understand basic dimensioning and tolerances.
• Translate repair instructions into action.
• Multi‑task and cross‑train in different areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety precautions.
• Exhibit time‑management skills.
• Communicate effectively and listen actively.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Potential for domestic and/or international travel. Passport is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder).
• Experience with aircraft composites or sheet metal.
• Previous military/aviation experience or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is a plus.
• Automotive body finishing or painting experience is a plus.
• Industrial trade school training – automotive or aircraft related is a plus.
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
• Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening.
• Capable of working in a repair environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
