Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Programmer role in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling and/or turning operations to support production needs.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to achieve precision and efficiency.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.) to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, tooling lists, and process adjustments.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining, workflow efficiency, and quality control.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in CNC programming or machining technology strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC programming (Mastercam, Gibbs
CAM, Fusion 360, or similar). - Strong understanding of G‑code, machining principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with setup, tooling, and machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
