Monday–Friday, 6:00/7:00 AM - 2:30/3:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Machinist with full‑scope manual milling and manual lathe machining experience to join our Special Equipment team in Cincinnati, OH. This role requires the ability to take projects from start to finish—including setup, operation, precision machining, and finishing—on manual machines. While CNC machining experience is a strong plus, initial responsibilities will focus on manual machining, with opportunities to learn and operate CNC equipment over time.

- Perform full‑scope machining on manual mills and lathes, including setup, operation, and finishing.
- Interpret complex tooling and part drawings accurately.
- Apply advanced shop mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry) to calculate dimensions, speeds, and feeds.
- Devise and fabricate holding fixtures as needed.
- Shape and sharpen cutting tools for optimal performance.
- Work to extremely tight tolerances (.0002) and ensure quality standards are met.
- Document activities through reports, sketches, and technical notes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical tooling challenges.
- Minimum 3–5 years of recent experience in manual milling and lathe machining (full‑scope).
- Ability to interpret complex drawings and apply GD&T principles.
- Strong knowledge of cutter geometry, feeds, speeds, and material characteristics.
- Proficiency in surface plate inspection and precision measurement tools.
- CNC machining experience is a plus and offers growth opportunities.
- Preferred experience with CAD software for design and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
- Comfortable working in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment and standing for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and carrying.
