AboutThe Role
The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is a world‑class museum and education center, located at the historic Union Terminal. We are seeking a part‑time Engagement & Activation Ambassador to join our inspired team, dedicated to fulfilling our mission of ensuring that the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today.
This position is responsible for supporting the execution of outreach strategies and youth and family public engagement for the Center. They will serve as the lead ambassador during high‑traffic visitation times at Union Terminal and at public events and – exemplifying and embodying the spirit of our mission and being a role model of kindness and hope.
Passionate about increasing visibility for our award‑winning museum and delivering an engaging and friendly first impression, the ideal candidate loves connecting and talking with people, particularly families and children. This role is a great fit for someone who has customer service or sales experience. This role is focused on elevating the museum’s brand awareness through direct outreach with target audiences.
Responsibilities- Greeting Cincinnati Museum Center visitors, engaging them in creative and immersive activities and activations that connect to our mission, educating them about the Holocaust & Humanity Center, and sharing information about the Center’s mission and events.
- Representing our organization as the lead ambassador and engager at public events and during high‑traffic visitation times at Union Terminal – exemplifying and embodying the spirit of our mission and being a role model of kindness and hope.
- Participate in Community Events.
- Travel to and set up at scheduled community events, programs and festivals.
- Professionally represent the Center by providing information to the general public when necessary.
- Tracking engagement with Cincinnati Museum Center visitors, community event attendees.
- Assist with execution of other, occasional special event programming and tours, which may be held within the Museum or in other venues within Union Terminal.
- Comfort level interacting with all audiences and age groups is essential.
- Must have a positive and outgoing demeanor with a team‑player mentality.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Personal commitment to accountability, taking great pride in your work.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
