Job OverviewAPP is responsible for inpatient primary service and consults for the Division of Gastroenterology. The position requires an experienced provider with a specialty focus in gastrointestinal care.
Qualifications- Certification: FNP, Acute Care, Primary Care, or similar. If FNP or primary care, must have previous experience in inpatient RN or provider care.
- Specialty experience preferred (ED experience, Surgical experience, etc.).
- Masters degree in a related field;
Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) may be required. - Licensure and certification in accordance with CCHMC Delineation of Privileges; multi‑state licensure may be required.
- Shift length: 8, 10, or 12 hours.
- Rotating shifts.
- Holidays and weekends.
- No on‑call.
$112,590 – $180,149. This reflects a full‑time, 40‑hour work week. Rotating shifts will pay shift differential for qualifying hours worked.
Job Responsibilities- Perform history and physical examinations, assess and diagnose illnesses, and formulate, document, and monitor treatment plans.
- Order and monitor therapeutic interventions, including laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests as appropriate.
- Provide clinical consultation and inter‑disciplinary consult coordination.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Federal and State Law & Rules and CCHMC policy.
- Maintain competency in subspecialty practice and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Lead on care management, ensuring integrated delivery of pediatric care services.
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
