Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & DeliveryLocation: 2139 Auburn Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45219
Shift: Night Shift Only (3×12-hour shifts/week)
Holidays: Must be available to work one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s)
Float Requirement: May float to Liberty Campus (25 miles away)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $65/hr (Local) | $72/hr (Traveler)
The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill to provide care to both groups and individuals. The RN applies principles from biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
At TCH, the RN builds an ongoing partnership between patients, families, and the healthcare team — ensuring culturally competent and age-appropriate care. All practice aligns with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act .
Unit Description – Labor & Delivery29-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
Approximately 3,100 deliveries and 2,100 ambulatory patients per year
Unit includes:
- 12 labor & delivery beds
- 4 high-risk beds
- 3 post‑op recovery beds
- 3 surgical suites
- 4-bed triage unit
Patients are triaged, admitted, stabilized, delivered, or transferred to a Level III facility as appropriate.

Required:
- Diploma in Nursing
- Active Ohio RN License (or Compact)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
