Job Responsibilities
  • Patient Care – Contribute and collect data for patient health assessments or research protocol requirements. Provide patient care as directed, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and evaluate patient response to nursing interventions.
  • Planning – Participate in the development, maintenance, or modification of the nursing plan of care or research protocol, integrating age‑specific and culturally inclusive concepts.
  • Collaboration – Interact with other members of the health‑care/research team regarding the patient plan of care or research protocol.
  • Compliance, Safety, and Quality – Maintain organizational and regulatory requirements and accreditations. Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines, and identify and report safety concerns.
  • Inclusion – Ensure patients and families feel welcome, safe, valued, and respected, incorporating culturally inclusive concepts into care and recognizing cultural impacts on patient experience.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Novice to competent in subject matter and skills.
  • Completion of a practical nursing (LPN) certificate or vocational nurse (LVN) program.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Preferred:
    Experience in a pediatric or research facility.
  • Preferred:
    At least 2 years of related work experience.
