Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) –

Meadowbrook Care Center, a respected leader in long-term care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our talented leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, compassionate, and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) who is motivated to make a positive impact on residents’ lives while supporting and guiding our nursing staff.
In this key role, you will provide ongoing direction for our nursing department and coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating the nursing department to maintain excellence in care
Support recruitment, selection, and training of qualified and engaged nursing personnel
Lead and schedule in-service training to ensure team compliance with Federal and State requirements
Verify nursing staff credentials, licenses, and certifications remain valid and up to date
Oversee the RAI process, ensuring timely completion of MDS
, CAA’s, and care plansMonitor assessments and guide timely documentation and submission to the state
Schedule and facilitate resident care plan conferences and monthly Quality Measures meetings
Manage the Care Planning Process to reflect individualized resident needs
Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in operational oversight of the department while adhering to company policies and nursing standards

RequirementsCurrent RN license (Ohio)
Experience in long-term care settings
Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Proven leadership and supervisory ability
