The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant for our Urogynecology clinical practice.

Primary responsibilities for the APP will include supporting the Pelvic Health Center by providing patient care at one or more of our clinical locations. Clinical care will include initial and return patient visits, post-operative follow up, and performing office-based procedures based on training and licensure.
Essential Functions- Working collaboratively with Uro-Gynecology specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
- Prescribe necessary treatment and services for quality patient care.
- Perform office-based procedures within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with other providers and members of the health care team in delivery of care and make appropriate referrals when needed.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Facilitate staff, patient, and family decision making using evidence-based practice.
- Possible participation in research and development projects.
- Participate in education of APP learners.
- Work collaboratively with residents, fellows and medical students.
Master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program, or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority, or Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority.
Three (3) years nursing experience, or additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredMinimum of one (1) year experience is ideal for Physician Assistant.
