State Tested Nursing Assistant -hour shifts!! 1st PT 2nd shift

SUMMARY

Cares for residents in a nursing home, or other medical facilities, to preserve and promote the health and well-being of the residents, under the direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Provides direct care to all residents assigned, including but not limited to:

· Baths, showers, or tub baths for all residents as assigned

· Shaves all male patients shave female residents as required under arms, legs, and face as required

· Administers back care observing and reporting all evidence of pressure areas

· Brushes, or assists with brushing teeth, rinsing mouths, and denture care as necessary.

· Dresses, or assists residents in dressing as required, in their clothing daily

· Attends to fingernail cleaning and trimming as required

· Prepares residents for meals, takes residents to the dining room, assures food is accessible, feeds residents requiring assistance, supervisors self-feeding residents, cleans residents after meals with face washing, hand washing, clothing, trays, wheelchairs, tables, etc., as necessary after
