Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required, with exposure to CICU
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting within a children's hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Float required, including to CICU (CVPICU) and potentially to the Liberty campus
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated for weekends only (Fri-Sun) if willing to work all weekends
• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
• Minimum of 2 holidays required to be worked during the assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated with no exceptions
• Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible for contract positions for 1 year from their termination date
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and subject to local pay rates
• An additional background check and fingerprinting will be required onsite on the first day of the assignment
