Rehabilitation Veterinary Assistant

Use your passion to drive the Med Vet experience for our clients and patients, as well as your teammates.
- Prioritize caseload and patient care, prepare and review charts for appropriate paperwork, as well as ensure accurate documentation
- Restrain and assist with examinations and therapies
- Prepare prescriptions, harnesses and needed information for clients
- Discuss therapies and recommendations, as well as address client questions and concerns
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication, services, patient transfers and consults
- Perform and/or assist with patient therapies using multiple modalities including underwater treadmill, laser therapy, chiropractic adjustments, ultrasound, Assisi loop and land therapies
- Prior veterinary experience required, previous rehabilitation experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
