Care Center located in Cincinnati, OH is searching for a Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Emergency team on first shift! If you’re passionate about veterinary medicine, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule:

Full‑Time | First Shift, 7:00am - 7:30pm | Rotating schedule | Week 1
- Sun, Wed, Fri / Week 2
-Mon, Fri and Sat | On‑call rotation required

Pay Range:
Competitive hourly rate: $20–$28/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Provide pet owners with clear home‑care instructions and updates on hospitalized pets
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care
  • Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments
Essential Skills
  • Patient restraint skills including, but not limited to: behavioral assessment, safe handling of fractious patients
  • Able to maintain focus and work in a fast‑paced work environment
  • Adept at problem solving
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education
  • One year clinical experience
  • Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds unassisted
