Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the quality assurance department, aligning quality initiatives with the company's mission and business objectives.
- Develop and execute quality strategies and continuous improvement plans.
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality control processes to meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
Education:
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Work in conjunction with safety teams to ensure alignment of safety and quality initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and project records.
- Provide regular quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify areas for quality improvement and lead corrective and preventive action plans.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement best practices and quality enhancements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing client concerns related to quality.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction with the quality of our projects.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, including quality inspectors and analysts.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Valid Certified Welding Inspector with active certification.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction quality assurance, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality control processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Exceptional quality leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
