Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Step into an Order Quality Auditor role in Cincinnati where accuracy and pride go hand in hand. You'll spot what others miss and make sure every piece meets top standards.

The Order Quality Auditor serves as the final independent quality checkpoint between our partner and their customer. This role is responsible for ensuring every shipment meets customer requirements, quality standards, and company expectations before it leaves the facility. This position requires the confidence to stop shipments, identify discrepancies, and ensure all issues are fully resolved before approval.

Job Duties
  • Conduct final quality audits of customer orders before shipment
  • Verify product accuracy, quantities, documentation, labeling, packaging, and customer-specific requirements
  • Serve as the final approval point for shipments, ensuring all quality standards are met and stopping shipments when discrepancies are identified
  • Follow established quality procedures, maintain audit records, document issues, and verify corrective actions prior to release
  • Validate order quantities using physical counts, system records, and shipping documentation, investigating and resolving all discrepancies
  • Review shipping paperwork, labels, certifications, and customer-required documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure orders are properly identified, segregated, packaged, and shipped according to customer and company requirements
  • Identify recurring quality issues, investigate root causes, and recommend process improvements to prevent future errors
  • Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, quality, customer service, and operations teams to maintain shipment accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Barcode and scanning technology usage is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.

    Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Order Quality Auditor.
  • Aerospace, automotive, or defense industry background strongly preferred
  • Prior quality of Hydraulic or industrial product experience is ideal
  • Familiarity with ISO-controlled environments is a plus
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required
