The Lytle Park Hotel is seeking a passionate, hands‑on Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team! This position will primarily focus on supporting our restaurant kitchen operations, working alongside our line cooks to ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a strong culinary professional who enjoys being actively involved on the line, leading by example, developing team members, and delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests.

• Provide daily hands‑on support to restaurant line cooks, assisting with food preparation, cooking, plating, and execution during service.
• Work alongside the culinary team during peak service periods to ensure timely, consistent, and high‑quality food preparation.
• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and smooth execution of service.
• Coach, train, and mentor line cooks to strengthen culinary skills, consistency, and overall performance.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, portion control, and recipe execution.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and compliance with all food safety standards.
• Assist with daily prep lists, station organization, product rotation, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
