About Mad Tree

Founded in 2013, Mad Tree is an award-winning brewery that’s rooted in Cincinnati and planted in purpose. Driven to craft great beer - but more importantly - build a business dedicated to doing good, Mad Tree protects and celebrates nature while reducing impact on the environment. Mad Tree is a B Corp certified company and proud member of 1% for the Planet with a commitment to donate 1% of sales to local, sustainable nonprofits.

Mad Tree strives to create warm and welcoming experiences, exceed expectations, and most importantly, plant a better community. They put purpose in every pour, and raise a glass to doing things differently.

The Oakley Taproom is Mad Tree’s flagship location and the heart of our company. It’s the place where community, craft, and culture come together.

Transforming a former paperboard recycling facility and airplane hangar into a 50,000 sq. ft. brewery and beer destination, our Oakley Taproom opened in early 2017. As craft beer was booming in Cincinnati and beyond, the expansion positioned Mad Tree as a major force in the local beer community and marked our evolution from a beloved neighborhood brewery into one of the region’s most iconic craft beer destinations.

Today, our Oakley Taproom serves as the home of our beer production, our corporate offices, and the teams who help bring our purpose to life every single day.

Nestled in the heart of Oakley, the space was intentionally designed to be a true neighborhood gathering place where people can connect, celebrate, and feel a sense of belonging. Featuring expansive indoor spaces, a massive beer garden and patio, a signature living wall, large private event venues, and year-round programming, the Taproom creates energy and experiences that go far beyond simply serving beer.

As the flagship of the Mad Tree brand, the Taproom carries forward our commitment to warm hospitality, thoughtful experiences, and creating spaces where community thrives. More than a brewery or taproom, this is the living heartbeat of Mad Tree; a place built to gather, celebrate, and grow alongside the community that helped make us who we are.
