Responsibilities- Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors by demonstrating a command presence, following dress code (vest and earpiece), maintaining a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
- Maintain a safe and secure store through strong attention to detail, multitasking, communication, and partnership with store leadership.
- Enthusiastically engage every customer and associate in high‑risk areas with respectful, customer‑service oriented interactions that reinforce control and security.
- Display a deep understanding of top shortage areas and support programs designed to identify and reduce theft.
- Gather and document indicators of external theft, share with store and field leaders, network with local law enforcement, and support evidence gathering for organized retail crime or repeat incidents.
- Support store manager by providing internal controls and operational oversight, including associate bag checks, monitoring point‑of‑sale transactions, conducting store audits, and promoting Asset Protection programs.
- Provide leadership training for associate onboarding and ongoing support in shortage reduction programs and procedures.
- Assist store leadership in preparing and executing the semi‑annual inventory process and developing action plans to reduce shortage.
- Model behaviors that demonstrate safety as a top priority.
- Manage stressful situations effectively, addressing unsafe practices whenever possible.

Base pay: $14.50 per hour, competitive and consistent.
