The Associate Buyer role works under the direction of the Buyer with defined guidelines, and is responsible for helping identify new assortment selection, new vendor additions, margin enhancement opportunities, promotional cadences, and vendor reporting to support Range USA’s rapid growth and dynamic product lines.

• Support the Buyer in executing buying strategies and provide analysis on sales trends, margin opportunities, and inventory productivity
• Generate regular sales reports and present findings to the Buyer.
• Assist in developing Range USA Exclusive products by researching market trends, gathering vendor samples, and coordinating approvals
• Assist with identifying and testing new SKU opportunities based on market trends and sales data
• Monitor vendor inventory levels and communicate availability issues to the Buyer
• Support the identification and execution of merchandising bundle opportunities by analyzing sales data and coordinating with vendors
• Assist in vendor relationship management by tracking performance metrics, coordinating meetings, and maintaining vendor communication
• Support assortment planning by analyzing seasonal trends and providing recommendations to the Buyer
• Review store level inventory based on presentation levels with recommendations for increases or decreases based on overall demand
• Report on slow-moving items, with recommendations of price action or promotions.

Possess the following core values:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain, or Retail Merchandising.
• 1 year of work experience in a merchandising role or working directly with the product and customers in a store.
• Firearms experience and industry knowledge required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This is an on-site job located at our Main Office in Cincinnati, OH.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Additionally, specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
