• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; manage payment types; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identify roadblocks and assist in training.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; applying these principles to business processes and practices.
• Completes work by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; identifying opportunities for improvement; and adapting to change and feedback.

Live Better U is a company-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.
