Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food Service Distributor Sales Representative in the Cincinnati areato join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience in food service sales, a passion for customer service, and a track record of exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurants, institutional kitchens, and other food service operators.
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate product solutions.
- Manage and grow an assigned sales territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including purchasing and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging food service solutions.
- Handle pricing negotiations, contract management, and customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and maintain customer data.
- Other functions and tasks as assigned.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in food service distribution or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of food products, industry trends, and customer purchasing behaviors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish
