Business Development Representative

As an integral part of the Sales Team by representing Holland Roofing and building the business through new customer sales. This role is responsible to conduct outbound calls with the objective of prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.

A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

• Make outbound calls to predominantly new and prospective clients. Acquire new customers through prospecting the assigned territory, lead campaigns, and referrals.
• Qualify customers using value-based methods. Assess needs while targeting upgrades and cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop and grow a pipeline or future business by prospecting via the internet, assigned territory lists, and other sources made available to you.
• Maintain complete records of customer interactions and process activities through detailed notes in CRM.
• Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

• Motivated to work as an integral member of the team to meet and exceed goals.
• Excellent communication skills. Written, verbal and telephone.
• Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to "Think outside the box"
• Competitive spirit and motivated self-starter
• Demonstrated leadership ability in personal or professional endeavors
• A career interest in sales, business development, marketing, or entrepreneurship. Ability to identify and cultivate potential client relationships.
