Inside Sales Specialist

Trak group is partnering with a growing client seeking a Sales Specialist to support sales growth through proactive customer outreach, lead follow-up, and pipeline development. This position is ideal for an energetic, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys making outbound calls, uncovering customer needs, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.

The role is highly activity-driven and requires someone who is comfortable working toward daily and weekly goals in a fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment.

• Conduct proactive outbound calls to existing, inactive, and prospective customers to identify sales and quote opportunities.
• Follow up on inbound leads through phone and email outreach.
• Gather customer information and identify initial needs, upcoming projects, and purchasing opportunities.
• Generate qualified opportunities for Account Managers and the broader sales team.
• Conduct consistent outbound calling, emailing, and follow-up activities to build the sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate customer notes, activity records, and follow-up action items.
• Meet established daily and weekly performance goals related to:
  • Outbound calls
  • Customer conversations
  • Follow-up activities
  • Opportunities generated
• Educate customers on available products, services, and capabilities.
• Ask effective questions to uncover customer needs and potential purchasing opportunities.
• Escalate larger or strategic opportunities to Account Managers or Sales leadership.
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout every interaction.
• Participate in product, sales process, software, and onboarding training.
• Support targeted outbound campaigns, including budget-cycle outreach, quote follow-up, customer retention, and other sales initiatives

• Work collaboratively with the sales team to support new business development and revenue growth.

• Comfortable making a high volume of proactive outbound sales calls and emails

• Strong phone presence with excellent verbal communication and active-listening skills.
• Ability to engage prospective customers, uncover needs, and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward activity-based sales goals.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up activities.
• Ability to quickly gather, organize, and communicate customer information.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

• 1+ years of outbound sales, business development, lead generation, or similar experience.
• Proven success generating leads through outbound phone and email outreach.
• Experience qualifying prospects and identifying sales or quote opportunities.
• Previous experience working with sales activity goals or KPIs.
• Experience supporting Account Managers or an inside sales team.
  
  Background with customer retention, quote follow-up, or targeted outbound sales campaigns.
