Salesperson, Food Sales

• You will be traveling throughout the area acting as the representative of our company selling products to regular and prospective customers including; restaurants, caterers, hotels and retail establishments.
• Displaying and demonstrating products with samples, catalogs and help from a team passionate for food.
• Communicate with accounts receivable as necessary to collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
• Manage deliveries to the delivery schedule and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.).
• Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events. Attend and participate in general sales and district meetings.

• Ideally two plus years of related experience in restaurants/retail (Grocery Stores/Markets) or food sales of some kind
• College degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality or culinary arts desired but not required
• Valid driver’s license with clean drivers record
• Current automobile insurance – must be maintained
• Candidates must live in the assigned geographic sales area
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
• Self-starter—must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job
• Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activates
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
