Security Officers are responsible for protecting the property, assets, and people within an assigned site including patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and ensuring the safety and security of all individuals. They enforce applicable laws, regulations, and site policies to prevent criminal activity and maintain a safe environment. The main purpose is to observe and report.

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and deter potential security risks.
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with site and company staff.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and take appropriate action.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and concerns.
• Manage conflicts and disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Work with law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field (school setting a plus).
• Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Clear vision, hearing, speaking, and writing.
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.; climb stairs and walk.
• Normal or corrected vision for reading and viewing.
• General computer knowledge and ability to adapt to software.
