We are currently hiring Flex Security Officers in the Cincinnati, OH area. Pay is $18/hr, paid weekly.
Benefits: All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) for 20‑hour work weeks (minimum 500 hours per year) and six months of service with Sunstates Security.
Requirements- Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to work various shifts, days, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be flexible and team oriented.
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service role.
- Exceptional report writing skills.
- Must be reliable.
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Training at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; assignments are temporary.
- Schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) will vary based on operational need.
- Shifts will be offered as they become available due to staffing needs.
- Some shifts are scheduled in advance; others may be short‑notice calls to cover unavailable staff.
- Expected to work any scheduled shift within your availability; communicate unavailability promptly.
- For short‑notice call‑ins, work at least 80% of the shifts called. Refusal more than 20% may impact employment status.
High School diploma or equivalent.
