What You’ll Do- Perform on‑site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
- Handle basic, non‑complex products and problems, referring more complex issues to higher level technicians.
- Use experience and technical skills to determine service requirements and advise manager of preventive maintenance inspections and corrective actions.
- Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety measures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime, on‑call, and weekend work as required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2‑6 years hands‑on commercial HVAC experience.
- EPA Certification – Type I & II or Universal (required).
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Technical aptitude for maintenance, service and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
- Excellent customer‑service skills.
- Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork.
- Works independently, self‑schedules and completes tasks within time constraints.
- Self‑motivated, thrives with minimum supervision.
- NATE certification a plus.
- Accepts periodic on‑call service coverage and occasional travel.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. in total, including 25 lbs at shoulder and overhead.
- Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
- Climb ladder and work at heights, access rooftops via fixed/extension ladder.
- Load and unload tools/equipment from work van; tandem lift up to 125 lbs.
This hourly, non‑exempt role offers a salary range of $39,000–$77,000 annually, determined by geography, performance, experience, and qualifications. Overtime is available for work beyond 40 hours per week or as required.
