KEP Electric, Plumbing & HVAC is a leading subcontractor specializing in single-family and multifamily construction projects throughout the Cincinnati area. We build high-quality electrical systems and invest in our team with training, growth opportunities, and steady, long-term work.
Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our Cincinnati team. This role is ideal for electricians with at least 4 years of industry experience who want consistent work on large-scale residential and multifamily projects. A license is not required, but the ability to work independently, read drawings, and guide apprentices is highly valued.
Responsibilities- Install electrical systems—including conduit, wiring, panels, and fixtures—for multifamily and residential buildings
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components as needed
- Oversee and assist apprentices with training and safe work practices
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on site
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Minimum Education
:

Minimum Years Of Experience
: 4-6 years
- Minimum 4+ years of electrical experience (residential or commercial)
- Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and lead helpers/apprentices when needed
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or elevated areas
- Strong understanding of electrical tools, materials, and safety practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Electrical license not required—experience is essential
