Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within industrial and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including low and high voltage applications, and experience working on construction sites or renovation projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and NEC standards to ensure safe and efficient operations across various industrial settings.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and blueprints to execute wiring and system configurations accurately.
• Maintain compliance with NEC standards and safety protocols while working on low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction blueprints to plan electrical layouts.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist in renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations within industrial facilities or construction sites.
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or maintenance person services during integrated projects.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies, including proper documentation of work performed.

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in industrial environments.
• Hands‑on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, blueprints, and NEC standards.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Construction site experience or involvement in renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Relevant certifications or licenses related to industrial or commercial electrical work are preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require working at heights or in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay:
From $27.00 per hour
