, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Cleveland/Akron area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman!
Aerial
Telecom Lineman will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Ohio as we continue to grow.
- Planning and Initiating Projects
- Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
- Setting Poles
- Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
- Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
- Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
- Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
- Tree Trimming
- Must have 1+ years’ experience in the industry
- Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
- Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
- Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
- Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
