Job OverviewAllen & Frey Builders & Remodelers Inc is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laborer to assist with residential construction and remodeling projects. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in carpentry, construction techniques, and site operations. You'll work closely with skilled carpenters, contribute to high‑quality builds, and help maintain smooth, safe, and efficient job sites.

Responsibilities- Assist carpenters with framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, decking, and other construction activities.
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials on job sites.
- Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after projects.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from lead carpenters and project managers to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to specifications.
- Help ensure projects remain on schedule by performing support tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Comply with building codes, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or related field preferred (willing to train motivated candidates).
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions and measurements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in various weather conditions.
- Stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods while maintaining focus on quality and safety.
