HM Staffing is looking for a Plumbing Foreman. The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will need to relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign specific tasks; supervise tasks and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and coordinate crews; monitor crew performance
• Relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign specific tasks; supervise tasks and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed
• Oversee crew to ensure material is installed per code and manufacturer requirements
• Understand project scope of work, plan submittals, and equipment requirements
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure crew follows company safety standards

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience
• 1+ years of managing and coordinating plumbing crews
• Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade
• Thorough knowledge of the prevailing codes of the plumbing trades
• Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
• Ability to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates
• Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and to determine necessary repairs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts
• Ability to make estimates of labor and materials needed for plumbing jobs
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates
• Physical requirements - ability to lift 75 lbs. and transfer 130 lbs. a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person
• Ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures
• Work from heights from an elevated aerial device
