Pipe Fitter​/Welder Midwest Mechanical Systems Engineered to Lead. Built to Perform. Maintained to Last

We are seeking a skilled pipe fitter/welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pipe fitting and pipe welding. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment.

• Fit and weld out piping systems
• Read drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work including locations, quantities, and materials
• Prepare, cut, fabricate, layout, fit, position, and assemble piping components together in various positions
• Install hangers, supports, valves and components
• Perform leak tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment.
• Able to work from ladders and man lifts at various heights up to 15 feet.
• Continuous communication with supervisor, office personnel, GC, owner, and others as needed
• Experience on commercial and industrial construction projects
• Ability to pass weld test
• Familiar with codes
• Team player
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
